what is the truth?
by ammar khaleel

‘I know only one thing, and that is that I know nothing.’

In our pursuit for the truth, we acquire a knowledge that is partial to our objective, due to its association with our agendas, beliefs, conceptions, perceptions and certainties, consequently we must free ourselves from these manifestations, because they implicate our understanding of life and its phenomena, for agendas restrain our reasoning, beliefs have their limitations, conceptions are inconsistent, perceptions are merely observations and certainties are uncertainties, therefore to realize our objective we must utilize our reasoning based on the contradiction between logic and sense, for in that contradiction lies the truth, because our rational is implicated by idealism and our sensory is caused by experience and experimentation, so in order for us to be impartial in our pursuit, we must consider ideas that are contrary to each other, yet maintain a consistent pattern to relate them to one another, due to our acceptance of the uncertainty and the fluctuation of everything.

‘Truth only reveals itself when one gives up all preconceived ideas.’

Ammar Shather

I’m not a messenger of hope! Since I immersed myself in the study of Philosophy, I found new ways and venues to view and critique the world, life and each other, naked and free from any metaphysical conception. Some might think that my linguistic social construction is a bit radical, but it liberates me from my demons.
